THE FONIX 2012

The Fifth English Competition for Catalan Schools (THE FONIX 2012) was designed to promote the use of English among school students through a fun and educational competition in an informal educational setting.


Once again we have decided to have a go in The Fonix. Although it was the first time we participated, last year our students' results were really good. I'd even dare say excellent. So here we go again.

We are in the first stage of the competition, but we want to encourage our students in Primary 5, Primary 6, ESO 1, ESO 2, ESO 3 and ESO 4. You are really good and you'll do it really well.

El "5è. Concurs d’Anglès Interescolar de Catalunya" (THE FONIX 2012) es va disenyar per promoure  l’aprenentatge de l'anglès entre alumnes de diferents escoles a través d'una competició divertida i educativa en un context informal.

Una vegada més hem decidit intentar-ho. Tot i que va ser la primera vegada que vam participar, l'any passat els resultats dels nostres alumnes van ser molt bons. Fins i tot m'atreviria a dir que van ser excel·lents. Així que som-hi de nou.

Estem a la primera etapa de la competició, però volem animar els nostres alumnes de 5è de Primària, 6è de Primària, 1r, 2n, 3r i 4t de l'ESO. Sou realment bons i ho fareu molt bé.

A TRIP TO LONDON

Who says travelling to London is too expensive? Some students in 2ESO A/B have been on a trip to London without even moving from their classes. Would you like to see what they have organised? Here you are a couple of examples.

Qui diu que viatjar a Londres és massa car? Alguns alumnes de 2n ESO A/B han fet un viatge a Londres sense ni tan sols moure's de les seves classes. Us agradaria veure què a organitzat? Aquí teniu un parell d'exemples.

                                   HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Els nens i nenes d'Educació Infantil vam celebrar el dia de HALLOWEEN amb algunes activitats com el treball de vocabulari: PUMPKINS, SPIDER, GHOST,WITCH, CAT ... a través de la pissarra digital. I vam fer una manualitat! Genial!

Kindergarten's children celebrated HALLOWEEN DAY with some activities related to the specific vocabulary using the digital board. And we did a hand craft!! Great!


 A P3 la mestra també va fer servir altres recursos com disfressar-se de bruixa per al treball de la part oral i per motivar els alumnes.Vam passar una estona divertida,oi?

 In P3 the teacher also used other resources,  such as getting dressed as a witch in order to work the speaking part and motivate the students. We had  fun, didn't we?

Fa unes quantes setmanes els alumnes de cicle mitjà van fer una representació de Mamma mia pels pares.
